Frequently Asked Questions

Below you'll find frequently asked questions about Nextblue. If your question isn't answered here then please get in touch.

Q: I'm not receiving any emails from Nextblue. What's the issue?

A: There could be a couple of reasons. First, check if you've accidentally unsubscribed from our emails. Head over to your account settings (click here) and ensure email notifications are enabled.

Here's what you're looking for:

Click "Manage" and enable the Nextblue newsletter:

Second, search your inbox for "joep@next.blue" and make sure the emails aren't going to a separate folder. If they are, be sure to mark them as important or open and reply to an email, which will train your inbox to recognise them as important.

If neither of these work, shoot us an email at team@next.blue with the subject line "Subscription issue" and we'll figure it out.

Q: I want to update my account details – change my email address, manage my email subscriptions, update my credit card, and so on. Where can I do this?

A: You can easily manage all your settings by heading to your account here: https://www.next.blue/#/portal/account.

Q: I'd like to support Nextblue, but subscriptions aren't for me. Can I make a donation?

A: Absolutely! You can contribute via our Tip Jar by clicking here. Thanks so much!

Q: How can I join the conversation?

A: We love hearing from our readers! To leave comments and join the discussion, you have to subscribe. Once you've subscribed, commenting is easy. Just sign in on any post and scroll down to share your thoughts. Already a subscriber? Great! Leaving comments should be a breeze for you.

Q: Can I listen to Nextblue?

A: Absolutely! For readers who prefer audio, we've launched a podcast. Find it here and listen on your preferred platform.

Q: I'd like a refund. What do I do?

A: We'll gladly issue you a refund if you are not satisfied with the product or your subscription accidentally renewed. Just shoot us an email at team@next.blue with the subject line "Refund".

Q: How can I directly get involved in Nextblue?

A: Yes, you can get involved by writing a climate and water related story, just pitch us. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have any vacancies in the core team, but please get in touch if this is something which interests you and we will keep you in mind when vacancies become available.
